About This Series

The SCCA National Championship Runoffs is the annual pinnacle event of SCCA club racing, where national champions are crowned in each class through a single winner-take-all race. Held at a single venue each year (recently rotating between Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Road America, and VIR), the Runoffs brings together the best SCCA racers from across the country for a week-long event culminating in championship races. The Runoffs is one of the most prestigious events in American amateur motorsport.

Format

Single championship race per class over a week-long event. Multiple practice sessions, qualifying sessions to set the grid, and one championship race per class. Each race is approximately 25-40 minutes.

Week-long event: Monday-Wednesday practice and qualifying, Thursday-Sunday championship races
