About This Series

NASA Regional Racing Championships are the backbone of NASA competition, with each NASA region (NorCal, SoCal, Mid-Atlantic, Great Lakes, Southeast, etc.) running its own season-long championship across multiple classes. Regional championships determine qualifiers for the NASA National Championship event. Regions typically run 6-10 race weekends per year at their local circuits.

Format

Sprint races, typically two per weekend. Qualifying sets the grid, followed by 25-35 minute races. Each region maintains its own schedule and championship points.

6-10 race weekends per region, February through November

Friday test day (optional), Saturday qualifying + Race 1, Sunday warm-up + Race 2
