SCCA Autocross Street classes are the entry point to competitive motorsport for most enthusiasts. Using completely stock street cars in a timed cone-course format, autocross teaches car control fundamentals — weight transfer, threshold braking, vision, and smooth inputs — at speeds safe enough that a spin means hitting a rubber cone.
